The BBC are providing lots of educational content on their BBC Bitesize site, covering all national curriculum subjects for all Key Stages.

Following the Easter break, teachers are preparing weekly activities for your children to work on. Some will be for them to do independently and some will require more adult support. Activities will be prepared, added to the relevant home learning page and emailed home as they are produced. Families can contact teaching staff via email and dojo with any queries.

ABOUT

The village of East Anstey is situated on the edge of beautiful Exmoor. There has been a school here since 1880, the School Board concerned having been formed five years earlier.

The Victorian building has, of course, been changed and added to over the years. The school comprises three classrooms, a small hall space, playgrounds and playing fields. Office space and kitchen areas are part of the main building with cloakrooms serving the class spaces.

The number of children attending the school has fluctuated enormously under the influence of changes in the law governing age ranges, rural depopulation, war and the closure of other local schools. In recent years, pupil numbers have averaged 40. We draw from a large rural area stretching from Dulverton to Molland..
