School Closure

Following the government directive to close all schools from 23rd March (other than for vulnerable children and those of key workers), East Anstey School was closed for the first half of the Summer term.  After half term, we opened for a small number of children - those of key workers and some from Years R, 1 and 6.  Throughout this time, work for home learning was provided weekly and communication was maintained with our families throughout this ongoing situation.

We are looking forward to a full re-opening of the school in September.  There are obviously a number of things to put in place before this, and our full risk assessment for September opening can be accessed here.

Families are actively encouraged to continue to observe the social distancing measures recommended by government, together with increased hand washing and sanitising to reduce the risk of infection spread.

We wish you all well and look forward to seeing you in September.
